Topics, Announcements & Polls

Topics live inside a Club�s categories and hold the conversations. Each topic can include posts, replies, and sometimes a poll or announcement from the Club.

What you�ll see on a topic page​

  • Topic header: Title, Club link, and any short announcement set by the Club.
  • Polls: Some topics include a poll so members can vote once. Results update after you vote.
  • Post list: The conversation itself, with replies nested beneath the related post.
  • Status: If a topic is locked or pending review, you�ll see a badge and reply controls will be hidden.

Viewing without signing in​

You can peek at a few topics before signing in, but there are limits to prevent scraping:

  • You�ll be prompted to sign in after a handful of different topics or page loads.
  • Expanding multiple posts in detail may also ask you to sign in after a few views.

Signing in removes these limits and lets you reply.

When replies are blocked​

  • The topic may be locked by the Club to pause conversation.
  • The Club itself may be locked or deactivated for maintenance.
  • Your access might be limited if you were muted, suspended, or banned in that Club; you�ll see a clear badge in those cases.

If you have permission to start a new topic in a category, look for the New Topic button within that category on the Club page. Keep titles specific and add a short summary so others can follow along.
