Safety, Restrictions & Limits
Clubiam includes guardrails to keep spaces safe and spam-free.
When actions are limited
- Locked topics or Clubs: Posting and replying are paused. You can still read existing content.
- Suspended or banned in a Club: Youll see a badge and wont be able to post, react, or join that Club until the restriction is lifted.
- Invite required: Some Clubs only accept invites or approved requests; posting stays disabled until youre approved.
- Management-only actions: Certain settings and member tools appear only for people who help run the Club.
Rate limits
- Doing too many actions in a short time can trigger a Too many requests or 429 page.
- This cool-off usually clears within minutes. Slow down and retry later.
Reporting and moderation
- Use the Report option on posts, topics, or profiles that break guidelines or feel unsafe.
- False or repeated misuse of reporting can itself lead to restrictions.
- Club managers can lock topics, mute accounts, or remove members to protect the space.
Staying in good standing
- Follow each Clubs guidelines; they appear when you join and are available in the Club settings.
- Post in the correct category and avoid repeating the same message across topics.
- If youre restricted, reach out politely to a Club manager if appropriate; avoid creating new accounts to bypass limits.
warning
If you see Session expired or frequent login prompts, your session likely ended for security reasons. Sign back in; avoid using multiple tabs or devices to submit the same action repeatedly.
