Notifications

Types of notifications​

  • Personal: Mentions, follows, replies, likes, relays, saves, and other activity on your posts.
  • Club management: Approvals, join requests, and safety alerts if you help run a Club.
  • Muted Clubs: Ignored Clubs won�t send notifications unless you manage them.

Where to see them​

  • The bell icons in the header show unread counts. There are separate icons for personal and Club-management alerts.
  • Counts refresh automatically; opening the panel marks items as viewed.
  • Tap any item to jump to the relevant post, topic, or request.

If you stay on the page for a long time, counts keep updating every few seconds. You don�t need to refresh manually.

Keeping notifications manageable​

  • Use Settings ? Notifications to adjust which alerts you receive and how prominently.
  • If you co-manage multiple Clubs, check their alerts regularly to avoid backlogs.
  • Ignore Clubs that are consistently noisy; you can un-ignore later.

Troubleshooting​

  • If counts look frozen, refresh the page or sign out and back in.
  • Check you�re signed in; notifications require an active session.
  • For Club requests, make sure you still have permission to handle them�if not, another manager may need to act.
