Clubs at a Glance

A Club is a dedicated space for a community. Each Club has:

  • A unique ID (e.g., &clubname) used in links and search.
  • Categories that group related topics inside the Club.
  • Topics within each category where posts and replies live.
  • Guidelines set by the Clubs leaders to keep conversations healthy.
  • Optional announcements or marquees that surface time-sensitive notes at the top.

What you see on a Club page

  • Cover and logo: Gives the Club its identity.
  • Member, topic, and post counts: A quick sense of activity.
  • Join, leave, favorite, or ignore controls: Your way to shape how often you see this Club.
  • Categories and topics list: Tap a category to view its topics; start a new topic when the Club allows it.
  • Status badges: If the Club is deactivated, locked, or youve been restricted, youll see a clear label and the actions will be limited.

Why guidelines matter

When you join or accept an invite, you may be asked to read and accept the Clubs guidelines first. They explain expectations, posting rules, and any sensitive areas. Accepting them helps avoid misunderstandings later.

tip

If you see a Club deactivated or Not permitted message, the Club may be temporarily closed or you might need a fresh invite. Try again later or contact someone who manages the Club.
