Privacy & Visibility
Club privacy
If you run a Club, set these in Settings ? Visibility & Join Policy:
- Home visibility: Decide whether the Club appears in search or is invite-only.
- Content visibility: Choose who can read topics and posts (everyone, members only, or stricter).
- Join rules: Allow open joins or require invites/requests. Switching to invite-only stops strangers from joining without approval.
Members see these choices reflected on the Club page (for example, locked or invite-only badges).
Personal visibility
- Your profile is visible to signed-in users. Blocking someone hides your profile from them and vice versa.
- Saved posts are private to you; likes and relays appear on your profile tabs.
- Testimonies appear only after you accept them.
Browsing without signing in
- Guests can preview a few topics and expanded posts, but limits apply to prevent scraping.
- Signing in removes these limits and enables posting, reacting, saving, and following.
Keeping control of your feed
- Ignore noisy Clubs to remove them from your feed and notifications.
- Favorite the Clubs and topics you want to see more often.
- Leave Clubs that no longer align with your interests; you can request again later if needed.
note
If you change a Clubs visibility, let members know. Sudden switches to invite-only or secret may confuse people trying to rejoin.
