How to Manage Board Roles

  1. Navigate to Club Settings and open the Board tab.
  2. Use the search picker to find members or pending invitees eligible for board promotion.
  3. Click Invite to Board to send a role invitation; board candidates receive a notification to accept.
  4. Review the board roster list to monitor active members and pending invitations. Revoke invitations if circumstances change.
  5. Remove board status from any member by selecting Remove from Board�they remain regular members unless you remove them entirely.
  6. Visit Role Access to fine-tune what the board can do (post moderation, inviting, sanctions) so responsibilities stay clear.

Tips

  • Promote trusted members gradually and adjust privileges in Role Access instead of granting blanket permissions.
  • Pair board changes with a quick announcement post so the community knows who to contact.
  • Keep at least one backup board member in case the president is unavailable.
