How to Secure or Close Your Account

1. Open Settings and select Reset Password to change your password. Enter your current password plus the new one and confirm.
2. Use the visibility toggles to double-check complex passwords before submitting, then click Submit to apply the change.
3. Head to Deactivate Account if you need a temporary break�confirm the dialog to suspend access without deleting data.
4. Choose Delete Account for a permanent removal. You�ll receive a confirmation code by email; enter it to complete deletion.
5. Log out from the avatar menu after sensitive changes, especially on shared devices.
6. Review notification tabs to ensure no pending moderation tasks remain before you step away.

Tips

• Password updates take effect immediately; sign-in sessions on other devices may require re-authentication.
• Deactivation can be reversed later by contacting support or logging in after the cool-off period.
• Account deletion is irreversible�export any important data before proceeding.
